The Villino sits in one of Waiheke’s most celebrated valleys, home to iconic wineries, olive groves, and laid-back coastal living.Hidden among the terraces of a working vineyard and olive grove, The Villino is a romantic and quietly luxurious one-bedroom escape with full privacy and panoramic views across Onetangi Bay, Great Barrier, and the outer gulf.

Large bi-fold doors open the living space to sun-drenched terraces, shaded lounging spots, and your private 10 × 4 m swimming pool (heated Oct–June), adjoining spa, outdoor shower, and BBQ pavilion. Inside, the villa is warm, earthy, and calming, with handcrafted details, timber ceilings, and a cosy open-plan living/kitchen area with a wood-burning stove.

The bedroom is peaceful and beautifully lit, with soft linens and garden views. The full bathroom includes a rain shower and separate bathtub for slow evening unwinds. Everywhere you look, the surrounding vineyard, gardens, and sea come into view.
A boutique breakfast is provided, and guests are welcome to explore the extensive estate: olive groves, fruit gardens, native bush, shaded picnic spots, and sweeping coastal lookouts.

Guest Access

Guests enjoy full private use of the villa, heated pool, spa, terraces, gardens immediately surrounding the home, and designated parking area. Guests are welcome to explore the estate… have a walk through the olive grove and vineyard, enjoy the harvest from the large kitchen garden, find fresh eggs in the hen house, tramp through an acre of native bush with several 1000 year old Puriri trees or picnic in the shade of huge Pohutukawas overlooking the neighboring vineyards.

Other Things to Note

Minimum stays: 7 nights Christmas–mid January, 3 nights remainder of January & all holiday weekends, 2 nights at all other times.
Pool heating: Pool is heated from 1 October to 30 June.
Breakfast: Full self-catered breakfast provisions included.
Water: The property is on rainwater tanks, please conserve water during your stay.
Access: Short walk required for 2WD vehicles; 4WD may park at the villa.
Pets: Considered on request only and must be approved in writing.


Getting Around

There is parking available at the Estate.
Buses run regularly between Onetangi and the passenger ferry, stopping near major wineries including The Heke, before continuing into Oneroa and down to the Matiatia ferry terminal.
Taxis and local transport services are available, though booking in advance is recommended during peak periods.
